Celebrate Every Milestone
Your baby is growing!!! I have several options to capture these special moments. Some people like to schedule them at 3, 6, 9 moths or a year. Others do them when they reach a milestone. Holding their head up, sitting up, walking, a year.
Milestones
These sessions are perfect to capture your growing bub! They are usually quick so we can keep your baby happy. These can be done in the studio or outside. Family can be included in some of the sessions.
Cake Smash
The options are endless! We can keep it super simple with just a cake, do a couple of balloons or go all out!
The Process
1. Say Hello!
Let’s chat first! Send me a message via my contact form and we can chat about what you are looking for, ask me any questions you have, and plan for those special moments.
Your balance will be due on or before the session day.
A $100 non-refundable retainer is due to hold your session date and time.
2. Getting Ready
Around a week before your session, I will send over a questionnaire for you to fill out. It helps me plan for any props/chairs we will need and lets me know what is most important to capture during your session.
If we are doing cake, we will discuss this at the time of booking so I can be sure I have what we might need on hand.
A couple of days before your session, I will check in and send over your balance invoice.
3. Session Day
Now the fun part! Your session!
We will meet at our agreed upon time & place whether it be in the studio or on location. Any outfits, wraps, or props will be provided by me. For very specific themes, I might have you bring items to add to the set.
Your remaining balance is due on or before your session.
If we are on location, you can pay your invoice online or with a check or cash at your session.
4. View Your Images
After your session, I will have your gallery ready to view in 10-14 days.
At this time, you can choose your included images and decide if you would like to purchase additional digitals or prints.
5. Receive Your Gallery
Your final digital images will be delivered in 10-14 days after approving edits.
Once you approve your edits, your prints will be ordered. There is also an option to order prints from within your final gallery as well.

What’s included:
All sessions include a product credit for digital and tangible products.
We have a wide array of products, several collections that include prints and digitals as well as a la carte items. There are also Watch Me Grow bundles to help document your baby’s first year.
Frequently Asked Questions
When should I book?
I recommend booking 2 months before your due date to ensure a spot on my calendar. If you need a fall weekend, I recommend booking in July if you are not flexible with your dates. August if you just have a month in mind. Weekdays are usually pretty flexible about 2-4 weeks out.
Do you have Mini Sessions?
I do! I offer several themed studio mini sessions throughout the year and usually offer 1-2 days in the spring & summer of outdoor options. In the fall there are lots of outdoor options. Those get released at the end of July/beginning of August.
They fill up quickly, but usually I am able to add on additional dates as we make it through the season. And don’t forget about Santa! He comes to the studio every year for the first Sunday in December. You can see what is coming up or is available in the shop.
There is also a studio micro session that is baby only, one outfit, one background.
Can we include family?
Of course! I do recommend keeping it to a minimum because we do not want to use up all our smiles before we can get to the cake! If you are not planning on cake, then we would just treat it like a family session.
Do I need to bring anything?
Nope! You do not have to bring a single thing except a smile! We will discuss what all we are wanting to capture and what I have available in my client closet.
If your theme is very specific, I might have you bring some things to add to the set. If you have older siblings, never be above bribing. The perfect bribe is a favorite candy they can eat quickly that is not messy. Nerds, smarties, skittles. Puffs or small fruit snacks also work. Chocolate is NOT a great idea because it is messy.
Just give them to me when we get started.
What about cake?
If you have something special in mind, then I recommend getting your cake on your own. If there are any known food allergies, you will be required to provide your own cake. I recommend ordering a white cake and a light icing. Chocolate looks like dirt. Babies are oddly drawn to fondant but struggle to eat it. I recommend avoiding it whenever possible.
I am happy to provide a cake for a nominal fee. Cakes provided by me start at $25. It depends on how many decorations you would like on the cake. I will have it there are ready for you session.
What should we wear?
I have several outfits for 1 yr sessions. If we are including family, I recommend wearing something you feel good in! Pick one pattern and pull colors from it. I am also happy to help with this.
Once you book we can start discussing locations & coordinating outfits.
I found an image on Pinterest. Can I send it to you?
Of course! I love to see the things you love! I really love when you send me photos of things I have actually shot though. In either case, we can usually do a variation of what you have sent.
Images should ideally be sent immediately and before the eve of your session. This gives me time to plan.
Please do not send me 10+ images though. It leaves me confused about what you actually want and usually makes me have to say no to several things. I would prefer to say YES!
Where should I get my images printed?
I always tell people it is best to order wall art from me. My images are calibrated to my professional lab printers. You do not have to order prints from me though.
I recommend ordering from Full Color or Mpix Photo Lab. Both are great consumer labs & ship directly to you!
Do I get all of my images?
The Deluxe Newborn and Family sessions both include all of your gallery images. The rest all come with a momentary credit that you can use towards purchasing images, prints, and/or canvases.
The amount is equal to a digital bundle. That way if you pick that bundle you owe nothing after. If you pick a larger bundle, we will apply the credit to your total.
How much do people usually spend?
Most people upgrade to the next digital bundle, so between $400-1000 not including physical prints.
