Love of the outdoors
I love being outdoors! But I don’t really want to do anything. Just sit and enjoy it. Except fly fishing.
Don’t expect me to go regular fishing though because I would rather just tag along and maybe read a book.
What would Dixie Do?
I worked for Dixie right out of college. We were all just babies. Working for her changed the path of my career. She was a mentor and a friend.
I find myself asking “What would Dixie do?” anytime I am trying to make a decision about my business. There were a lot of tears shed when I put in my two months’ notice because of my move to New Orleans.
Brotherly love
I am a big sister to these two guys. Love them more than words.
Wedding day
This is from our day after session and fits us perfectly still 10+ years later. Usually laughing and leaning in.
Unless we are moving furniture. There is less laughing when we move furniture together.
Cherished memory
I recently got a tattoo. It is a histogram. A histogram is all the color information of a digital image. Kind of like a fingerprint.
I had the histogram of the first photo of my daughter and me tattooed on my upper forearm. A little science, a little photography, a little of my daughter. Obsessed.
Space Camp
I went to space camp with my daughter and her school. It was SO cool! Especially that spinney thing they use to train pilots.
Snow day!
BEST. DAAAAAY. EVER. There was so much snow this week. I sledded more than I had in the last 2 decades combined.
